Back from TT-West...plus limited edition TTW collection....

....bug collection, that is. Collection includes selected species from Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, and a few last minute additions from Nebraska.

Trip Stats:

4,586.2 mile round trip (driveway to driveway)
76 hours 59 mins. in car.
27.9 mpg (30.5 to Ashland) (seems too low)
59 mph avg speed (incl traffic jams & const. zones
152.969 gallons of gas
$523.79 ($3.42/gal avg) (if I added everything correctly)
Fastest stretch of trip was on hwy 200 between Jordan, MT and Glendive, MT...sustained 90-105 mph most of the way for over 100 miles.
No tickets!

We left Great Falls, MT Wednesday, around 8:30 a.m. MDT and arrived in Omaha about 2:15 a.m. CDT this morning. Whew...feels weird to not be in the car. What a great trip...can't belive its over already though. :-(

It was great meeting so many West CoasTTers!

Thanks Ed, for caravaning on the way out. I'm thinking about the short trip to TT-Central...very tempting.

Same here! Not quite the collection you have.... >>

... but enough of a carpet on the front to merit getting out the pressure washer to make sure intercooler fins are clear. Even though we don't have rain in Vegas, a good layer of rain-x on the windshield helps the bugs wipe right off. And driving through that corner of California near Mt Shasta sure did wipe out a lot of insects!

Upon close inspection of your new bra...I notice it is not entirely made up of bugs. There

some signs of bird doo-doo. Probably casued by nervous birds who heard the turbo opened all the way. Nice to have met you and glad you had a great trip.
