Need advice on maintenance and exteneded warranties...
Next week I am purchasing a 2003 TT Convertible with 39K miles. The car has been leased and is in perfect condition. The car is just outside the original warranty period.
Does anyone know of a good extended warranty company? (is it even worth it???)
What should I plan on having done (preventative) in the near future? I've heard timing belts/chains, water pumps, etc...
I'm planning on having the car for about two year.
ANY advice is very much appreciated!

Carefully evaluate
It must have had an early in service date?
I heard dealers are more expensive.
Research "inclusive" and "exclusive" extended warranties.
Inclusive ones for aobut 4 years will run you about 2100. Exclusive are more like 3-5000.
Find out which parts need repair most compare to coverage.
Find out how the warranty is paid.
Re-embursement is bad. They should pay while you are at dealer.
Looks for what voids the warranty if anything.
Its a gamble.

Re: Planning on having 2yrs?! I bet you keep it a lot longer than that.
LOL I wish I could keep it for longer than two years but my company is sending me out of the country for several years in two years time.
