Default Light brightness ?...

I noticed last night that my headlight on the passenger side (main beam) wasn't as bright as on the driver's side.

When you actually look INTO the beams, the driver's is quite blinding, but the passenger side is slightly dimmer.

Do you think it just needs adjusting somehow, or is it on it's way out ? (if it needs adjusting, how do I do that ?)

Sounds like the package is failing.

You could install a grounding kit mod to be sure....DIY, about $30...and nice to have regardless

There's nothing worse than a failing package.

Default Keep in mind they're very directional.

If you are centered in front of the car, they will look different, cos they aren't both aimed at teh same angle.

Default unfortunately, HID bulbs deteriorate, yellow, and get dimmer in use :-(

the more you use 'em, the faster they go. (hint: don't use 'em for driving lights during daylight) Mine weren't lighting the road ahead NEARLY as brightly, and looked dim too, at 5 years old.

Not a logical explaination for your car UNLESS the now brighter bulb was replaced at some point (collision repair or a headlamp swap during mods, clear corners etc?), and the other: not...

If this is the case, adjustment won't fix it, a new bulb(s) is the answer

Default Hmmm.....thanks for all the replies. I thought it wouldn't be as simple

as a minor adjustment....typical !

Rumour has it these Xenon bulbs don't come cheap either :-(

Looks like I might take 'em out winter time and stick a couple of candles in there instead
