TDC viewer...
That would be the plug when removed, allows the view to Top Dead Center...sometimes used to verify cam timing - crank TDC to Cam TDC...

Plug for Bellhousing port.
Mine has come out a few times. Once it jammed in the shifter and scared me. I was hundreds of miles from home and couldn't shift properly. Very relieved when I found the rubber plug lying there in the way. I think I finally lost it.

Thanks for all the help...
I was having a hard time every once in awhile grabbing a gear. After inspection, I found this plug under the shift lever.
So as long as I have it I'll try to reinstall however, if it comes out it is not a big deal then?
