Blew a hose off last week...
Not exactly sure what the correct term is for the hose but I was ******* my car pretty hard in some 95 degree heat last week and when I hit the turbo I heard a noise and my rpms etc starting going crazy kinda so I pulled over and opened the hood. The hose on the left side had come off.
The hose itself was extremely hot and very soft feeling. It was so hot I could get it connected back but I couldn't get the bracket thing that squeezes it together back on. Lucky me I was close to home, like 300 yards so I just kept it below turbo and was able to get home. Later when the car cooled I was able to get the hose back on and screwed down and everything seems fine. I did turn by ECU back to stock for lower turbo boost for the time being.
Anyway is this something I should worry about? Should I think about getting some after market hoses or what?
