A fond farewell to the forum... >>>

Hey All - thanks to all of you for putting up with all the newbie questions these past couple years - it made TT ownership that much more enjoyable.

The TT sold last week and I'm picking up my new car this weekend - - '07 Silver (fastest color) GTI 4-dr DSG with 18" Vision V wheels and Sport Springs (no mods planned)... The GTI has nowhere near the looks of the Mk1 TT, but it's a lot of fun...

By the way - paying for the GTI with my Amex card to get the rewards points... priceless! Yep, I was surprised the dealer would let me put the full amount on the card too.

Congrats!

GTI is a fun car. 2.0T is a great motor with lots of torque. Can't imagine what it would be like chipped.
