Do both of the fans on the radiator run when the engine is stopped or just one?

Do both of the fans on the radiator run when the engine is stopped or just one?
I just looked at them and only one was running.
If anyone remembers I have been having a almost overheating problem. It is not overheating but is getting one line from it. Someone mentioned that the fans might not be running but I ignored them because I had heard them run (or only one running). I do apoligize to the person that mentioned that. How would I go about fixing this and/or where would I find a fan. (on knee in praying position saying "please not Audi, pleas not Audi", lol. TIA.

have you first confirmed it is actually running warm and you>>>
are not going through a cluster problem? Check your temps via the HVAC.....it is running warm if you see temps over 108 or so...
Normal ranges between 90-100c...

I have confirmed it running warm
I have seen 109 to 112. Also the air conditioner starts blowing out hot air. After the hot air I put the heater on.
I have notice on the highway when going my car runs from 79 to 87 when going but when I am in stop and go traffic it goes to warm.

Exactly what happened to me today...>>>
A/C started to blow warm air as well. Temp went up to next to last line during city driving. Took car to shop and found out that the fan motor nearest to the battery side had died. Seems like a pretty commen problem especially during the harsh driving conditions and heat of Houston, TX.

Did the guy give you a price or anything to fix it?
I know that Houston is bad because one of my cousins has to drive from Lake Conroe to downtown and he said it takes him over an hour.

quoted ~$400 for parts and labor. I didn't really shop around though. Yeah 1 hr sounds about right from Lake Conroe to downtown Houston. I've gotten there in about 35 minutes in my TT once with no traffic.

it seems like the fan on the drivers side never turns on.
how do i force it on/.?
suprisingly this happend after my tb change as well...
could it be the ECS thermostat sucks?
cause the car does consistantly go over the middle temp mark, but the AC unit set to code 51 shows 90 degrees..
