Well the tear down has started...
Turbo is actually in great shape...no shaft play or wobble at all...(probably due to it hardly being used thanks to it bearly being attached to the motor)
Busted coolant return hose...plenty of broken studs and bolts...But I can see things going back together far better than before...
Damn... stripping the turbo out was a pain in the ****...But my mechanic/tech knows I am keen to get this project rolling (he let me go at it myself while he worked on other cars...yeah was a slow day today =D )
I see me switching to Koni coilovers thanks to having replace em anyway due to a dead Bilstein on the drivers front corner...Will trow in the neuspeed front sway while the sub fram is down too.
I wish there was a Polybush master kit available at a reasonable price ($250-300) tochange out all the decayed rubber...doing it piecemeal costs a fortune
Soon as new goodies come in I'll post pics for those interested.
