This is from a 2003 225CQ I am looking at for the wife(and me somewhat). Has a bearing noise I need to chase as well. I've cleared the DTCs and will log and check again tomorrow before I take it back. I'd research these myself but am short on time and learning the MK1 platform.

IConsole has been replaced, 35600 mi total, car is just about perfect cosmetically... need to replace the shifter surround/**** and a plastic panel or two.

Also question on CPO vs non CPO. Dealer will CPO the car for $1K, I am a self-maintainer and can probably fix most anything mechanical. Can't fix ABS or other complex electronics however. Is there anything common that breaks on these that costs close to the cost of the CPO?

Any help appreciated.

which is what is triggering that DTC. Very common. Also - common electrical failures are associated with intrument cluster (i'm going to need my 3rd)and fuel sending units. I'd tell them to throw in the CPO and get it or at least split it. Well worth it IMO.
