quick question: what the hell is this?

whats up guys? been awhile since Ive been on the boards

I had a quick question about what this is? Its the black plastic thing on the spare wheel well thing......Im just curious to see what it is because Im thinking about cutting out the whole entire well out to make room for a dual tipped exhaust

You mean the tow hook cover on the passengers side?

Its just to keep crap outta teh threads incase you need to screw in the tow hook

I think he means the round black plastic in the center of the well.

I had a price for doing exactly what you're thinking of by a quality shop - in the range of $2,300 to do it right. Needless to say, I haven't jumped yet.

jesus.... thats crazy, well I have a body shop that helps me out a lot

but I havent brought it to them to see if they can do it yet. Just thinking of some new ideas.

one of these days when I get back into town Ill see what they can do and Ill let you know.
