Why is it that when I meet some newer, and dare i say "younger" TT owners these days...
Seems that it's not enough to say that you've "done some work" and let the conversation drop at that... Nope.
Example for today was a few minutes ago at the local hotdog stand. Kid in a grey Roadster just couldn't stop yapping about his "new whip"(yes, his words).
After 7+ years of ownership, and lots of mods and car talk, I got it. Buddy... you are 17 and were playing with dolls when I first eyed this car... and mod's that your daddy pays for aren't that impressive.
Now, let me eat my hotdawg and please, f8ck off.

long enough for the price to drop in half on the used market. (Or for the spoiled ERRRRRRRRRR "fortunate" zit farmer that have daddy buy the car AND the insurance). My stereotype DOES NOT include the young guys that don't refer to their car as "whips", and earned their own jack to buy it. I'll talk mods with those guys anytime.
I'm feelin' your rant Brotha... this trend is usually what turns a good forum into a Vortexesque $h!tfest. But I'd have to modify one of your lines tho> "Buddy... you are 17 and were playing with dolls when I first saw this car on Leno while I was tappin' your Mom. Now run back inside and get my fockin' coleslaw, Bitch!" ;-)
Sorry, figured I might as well drop in on your rant, since it was already in progress. You outta try driving modded rice if you really want some unwanted attention. Yup.
