Default People with aftermarket headunits.

I just realized my back speakers aren't working as they used to.

They are VERY light if at all, I can't really tell.

If you adjust the fader (front/rear) on the head unit, when you put it on rear it fades the front speakers out and you can't hear anything out of the rears.

I used the common harness thing that Steve recommended.

I don't know what it could be. I took it to best buy, they have no idea, everything is correctly hooked up... its not the head unit.

They made me an appointment Friday but I was hopeful that someone here may know what is going on.

I knew something didn't sound right... one problem after the other.

I did fix my hazard switch today, so I have turn signals after months of roughing it and tapping the hazard button when I needed to turn...

Default There is no real rear sound...>

Bose is really a 3 channel for fill only back there. Aftermarket HU's will not fade to the rear (just like OEM). YOu'll need a new Amplifier to make those functional

Default You could...>>

Power the sub and some new speakers with a 3 channel and feed the fronts from the HU amp...

Most go with a whole new amp (4 or 5 channel) for the whole Deal though...

Default it is not the speakers....but the AMP....as Steve noted.....>>>

Bose gear in the TT does not fade at all. You need to use the amp in the headunit and re-route the speakers, or change the amp itself. Keep in mind, there is a speaker under the front windshield defroster that creates the imagery of the music presence being in the front of the car. Unless you fade to the front speakers with a new amp, the presence will come from behind you.

I got new rear speakers powered by the HU. Kept the Bose in the front.
