Suspension - Locked and Loaded?

thanks to this forum, I've completely crammed about 10 years of automotive suspension education in about, ohhhh, a day. (and completely blew off work while at, thank you very much).

the TT is going in for some big work (80K, TB, tires, brakes, rotors, alignment), so why not toss in a whole new suspension?!

Mind checking and let me know if I missed anything here:

- Koni FSD / Eibach Pro (drop 1.1") ~ kit from shox.com @ $893.20 + free shipping <br>
- 1/2 KMAC for -1.6 camber ~ from shox.com @ $139.00 + shipping

- New upper strut bearings & mounts ~ from ECS (ECS#1010 / ECS#926) @ $26.88 + shipping

- DEFCON 1 from Modshack @ $270.00 + shipping (which I'm thrilled to see after all the wet dreams I had imaging what the MkI feel must have been like - think of all money I'll save on laundry - YAY!)

- and an s load of moola for the labor ~ I haven't the slightest means to do this myself -

Too bad your not closer, I would have helped ya install most of that stuff!

Your looking at a full weekend worth or work, but nothing terribly tough

Looking good: keep your powder dry. I did this "package" and CPT Lower Control Arms (vice KMACs). We are Sierra Hotel!

If you don't have it already, get a 19mm Neuspeed or the adjustable H&R RSB.

$839 for springs and shocks? You can probably snag coilovers close to that. Just a thought.

I did consider that

but from all the research, for my needs the FSD & eibachs seemed the ideal setup. On the target board where KW V1 (too expensive), Koni coilovers & the Vmaxxx coilovers (too mysterious)... KC's didn't make it because I don't ever expect I'll adjust it

still not too late to be influenced (Vmaxxx would have been cheaper anyway)...
