I already have the switchblade keys. I need to have the keys "cut." My dealer states that they need my VIN to get the keys made by Audi in Germany. He says that you cannot have them cut here as they are made by laser. No joke, I thought I was talking to the guy from Austin Powers as he was explaining the laser process.
When I look at my original key, it looks like they use a small jeweler's mill to cut the groove.
