Finally moved some metal today. (mini review and rant about the new steel)

Big Bertha went back to the company today and picked up a new Dodge mini-van. It's the first new vehicle I got from the company in almost 10 years (all priors have been recycles or like Bertha unwanted).
Good gas mileage, compared to Bertha. Great air con. Great room.
Good stuff aside, fit and finish for a vehicle fresh from the dealer with only 18 miles on it was terrible for a new car. I actually popped a couple of panels back in fully that my detailed eye noted was not seated correctly. Surrounds slightly crooked (took care of that too). Minor rattles here and there over uneven pavement (not all manufactures fault, there was my trusty small ladder in the back).
To think that this is what Dodge / Chysler has branded as their competition to Honda, Toyota, and Kia minivans was disturbing.
Glad to see Bertha go bye-bye and happy to have some new metal in the fleet. Spent three hard years with Bertha. Now to move that TT (got an interested buyer from Illinois).
Bye Bertha! In a few ways, I'll miss being the "soccer mom."
