10 days left on the warranty.....
I was getting that horrible grind between first and second gear and it was getting worse. 10 days left on the extended warranty so I made an appointment. I get a call this afternoon saying they have the tranny out and they think it's the synchros. Will it ever be the same????

the same? hopefully not... hopefully it'll be better!
lots of folks here have had good experience with rebuilt or replaced synchros/trannys. i wouldn't worry about it, as long as your shop is capable of doing decent work.
