Swapped in new DV and found broken check valve!
Picked up a new one from the dealership yesterday and got it installed. Car seems like it wants to bury the needle on the boost gauge much more readily than before. I don't think it's overboosting... no limp mode or codes or anything. I think my gauge reads high.
John's going to bring the laptop and VAG-COM with him next sunday (19th) and we'll see if we can log requested vs actual boost and compare it to the gauge readings on the way back to portland.
Not that I'm complaining about my so called 25+ psi... It runs really strong with new plugs and no pinging to be heard even at those boost levels in 96+ heat.
