Cluster Display Reset -- Is Dealer messing with my car?? >>>

Hi..

I recently gave my car for oil change..when I picked up the car..the display was reset to previous data of 5/4/2001 and time 12:00...and all the trip info was reset as well..I set the time and thought they might have disconnected the battery. (BTW, this has never happened beofre...as they always do the oil change on my car and I never saw that time was reset or anything like that)

Then within a week I had to take my car to dealer for some other issue...which I ended up not fixing ..as they were charging me outrageous amount of money...then when I piked up my car again...the dispay was reset again in the same manner....then I set the time again and did not think it is much of an issue..

then 2 days after while going home from work...my display's all pixels got all red..and within 2-3 seconds I went to normal..but the display was reset again....

A lot of ppl in this forom mentioned about the cluster display issue...so does my issue is kind of indication of cluster going bad???

or it could be loose connection??? (FYI, car starts with no problem)

Did dealer messed up my car, coz I did not get my car fixed from them for which they were charging my ridiculous amount of money????

Any thoughts ...inputs....thanks for your time...
