problem with coolant temp sensor change out
i pull out the sensor and its blue and doesnt match the connections that the new green one does...
the blue one ( old one ) is shorter and square where as the new green one is long.
the old assembly has a different kind of clamp.. i dont knwo what to do..

well that sucks... when i went to VW to get the new green one, thats what they gave..i dont see why the squared one didnt pull up when i gave the year and model.

the mindless wonder...
oh and btw, the genius that i am...forgot to release the pressure from the coolant resevoir. so when i pull the sensor out...whoosh!
good thing the coolant wasnt hot.
