Lowering the 3.2

Can the 3.2 be lowered about 25mm without any problems?

I have H&R suspension...

both the front and rear are about 1-1/4" lower than stock. The alignment shop was able to get the alignment into spec without problem (I have forge tie-rod on the rear). Also, I'm running 255/30/R19's for front and back and there is no rubbing at all, if case you want to know.

I like my H&R's. I still like it now after having it for an year or so.

I believe the engine or oil pan sits lower on the 3.2, than the 1.8t, but try search

for specifig numbers

yes. the oil pan and transmission case are a lower on a 3.2...

You just have to be careful about letting objects on the road passing underneath the car.

The 3.2 sits 10mm higher on its suspension . . .

Due to the oil pan issue (one wonders how the Mk2 3.2 sits, as well as the new R32?). I believe that lowering the car 25mm would present some alignment issues in the rear.
