Dealer got me a new ECU - 8NO 997 018 AX. WTF?!
Instead of 906 018 C they got and installed a 8NO 997 018 AX. Anybody know this ECU #?
When they coded it to the car today, they couldn't code the CRUISE CONTROL. Otherwise the car runs OK, but I'll still need it chipped for K04. I Vagged it and it shows up as a 906 18 C.

Well, they apparently crossed circuits w/solder when they installed the APR chip ...
so Monday a new saga begins w/ECS Tuning and chiping this brand new ECU. You had the right idea - should've just swapped ecus.

I probably has a little a little sticker with a recycle like symbol (arrows in a circle) on it.
Damn, wish I had know about your dilemma. I have a APR chipped 018 C ECU that I need to get rid of. Bought it for a spare but it turned out not to be the right one for my car.
