recommended battery? Optima rep, duralast or any others?? >>

i will be going to buy a battery in an hour or two what should i get?? This is probably one of those questions just like which chip to get

recent ones have quality problems... I have 'em in both cars, and they're

holding up well, but I'll try something different next time

The DuraLast from AutoZone has the best rating from Consumer Reports.

The Optima is a poor choice, if you notice all the ridges in the casing of the battery. There have been lots of issues with cracks and leaking.

They don't have a Gold Series from DuraLast for the TT and you will need a Dremel to remove some plastic from the bottom of the battery to match the ridges for proper mounting.

When my OEM battery was failing it showed some syptoms of those who complain about Instrument Cluster Failure. After I replaced my battery that all went away that was 25k mi. ago.
