Default anyone have an extra OEM stereo lying around?
had the stereo checked out today at a stereo shop. really good guys over @ Ultrasounds in Long Island.

he checked the stereo fuses and they are alright. It seems the Stereo itself has just konked out.

i see a few OEM stereos on Ebay really cheap...$20 and $45....but i just wanted to see if anyone had an extra OEM stereo lying around here.....one that works. lemme know.

the other question i had was, do you think i could replace this cassette OEM radio (i have a changer behind the seat) with the 'newer' single CD oem stereo?

as i recall i THINK there may be a compatibility issue....but then again, the last time i asked about this was when Audi was replacing my stereo under warranty....and they might have made it sound like it won't work, just so they wouldn't have to give me a new stereo y'know
