Default Optima Yellow Top D35
Bought from Advanced Auto Parts.. Not sure how it is compared to the Red Top but the DEEP CYCLE is supposed to be better (?) not sure.. It was more expensive and but the only optima they had in stock that fit so I bought it instead.

Any opinions on it? BESIDES THE NEED TO CLEAN THE ENGINE BAY... GIVE ME A GREAT IT WAS JUST IN THE SHOP FOR A MONTH AND I HAVENT HAD A CHANCE TO CLEAN IT UP

How did you mount the fuse panel that use to be on top of the battery?

Default Um... why do you need a deep cycle battery?
It's not like you're driving an electric vehicle.

The only advantage of a deep cycle would be if you didn't plan on driving it or charging the battery for prolonged periods of time.

Couldnt tell yah.. they didnt have the red top so I just bo ught the yellow cuz I needed one badly

Default Install a pair of huge amps so that you can justify the deep cycle! >>
The problem with deep cycle is that you never actually use it. Sometimes people get shortened lives from them in normal auto applications. I had a 7 year old yellow top in my Bronco to run my winch and it worked great!
