Default the verdict: whether to keep the TT, or not....

i'm not a sell out. i'm keeping it :]

got alot of stuff to do on it though. alot of changes coming in the next few months....

i was VERY close to pulling the trigger on a Cayman. VERY CLOSE....and to some degree, i still think i should pull the trigger...the wife had given me the OK to order it...but due to many reasons, the largest being all-weather performance and storage space (this is our only car..)...the TT has won the battle....for now...

cheers!

Default good choice .. im keepin mine too

id be getting a lot more from a TT then the S2000 has to offer.

you, on the otherhand, had a tougher decision.. Those Caymans look pretty hot.

Default the Cayman is spectacular..

truly the BEST car on the market. Makes the MK2 look like a Kia.

But practicality is a concern....especially living here in New York, as well as a whole host of factors, as well as the fact that i STILL LOVE this TT. It has such a huge amount of charm...and now that it's old, i feel it's aged very gracefully.

There's something very vintage about the TT when it gets some more miles on it, and people who haven't put more than 50k miles on it won't understand until they have...

Default You could always get a "newer" MK1 TT- an 05 or 06 and >>>

still get a long warranty. In addition you could transfer any mods over to the "new" car.

Default definitely considered that...

but i think the intangible attachment to this TT is what is preventing me from jumping into another one. Silly, i know...but it does hold sentimental value. So i've decided to repair the problems on this one, and get it good as new again..

There are some great deals to be had though, on newer models....definitely.
