I ain't giving up my hatch! Sadly the U.S. will probably suffer the same fate. I can't stand people who tout socialized health care, they choose not to understand the economics behind it.

This child healthcare bill that Bush is going to veto soon is a real piece of work
They want to fund it by an additional $35 billion mainly using a tobacco tax. And the best part is that a brunt of the tax would be on cigars. They would raise the max tax per stick from 5cents like it is now to up to $10 per stick based on value. Some cigars would have their tax raised by nearly 20000% because of the increased cap.
Thankfully they don't have enough votes to override the veto. Spend wiser not more.

Well, we all know that cigar smokers are the scum of the earth :)
and should be taxed accordingly, j/k. I just read an editorial from the WSJ on the cigar tax, sounds like a great idea! <sarcasm>
