Looks like you need a new brake light switch at least. Once that is replaced, I (personally) would reset the codes and see if that longitudinal sensor code comes back.


Beware the brake light switch, there is a right and wrong way to do it. Do your research, there is an especially good writeup on the vortex. Don't trust the dealer, they way they told me to do it broke my first one. Essentially: DON'T touch the brake pedal. Don't twist the switch into locked position unless the plunger is depressed.
