Dr. Schwing; regarding the RTV fix for tCarbon's MAP flange ...
<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/51787/map_test_36.jpg"></center><p>I used Hi-Tem / Hi-strength RTV (about 160psi shear) and tested at bout 34# pull-out. Test successful.

I'd throw a clamp or a few zp ties over the assembly too to keep potential movement to a minimum! That way, any outward pressure will be taken up by the mechanical support and not stress the RTV..
