Default Lowcountry....are you out there?

My 3+ kit should be completed by Fri....I can't wait

Can you give me your impressions of the kit.

Any good run ins with other cars to get a good comparison?

Default I've only put about 40-50 miles on it...

due to the downpipe and testpipe hitting the heatshields above. The car is in the shop right now having that remedied (hopefully). Also, I had new rings, bearings, valve seals, etc. installed during my engine rebuild. I have been taking it pretty easy as a result of all the new goodies in there needing to be broken in first. Initial thoughts are that there is much more power available, but you must go higher in the rpm range before you get it. Also, throttle response between 800-3500rpm is not nearly as good as it was before. It is definitely going to be different, and I will be seeking a solution to the lessened throttle response.

Default on the heatshield>>>>

had the same issue with the 42DD pipe...we wound up banging out a little bit of the passenger side well to get the clearance needed....more than likely you are having the same problem....

On the throttle response....i think i know someone that can help! ;-)

ditto, I did the same with my heat shield to eliminate *buzzing* at certain rpms.

for me it was on down shift, middle 2,500 - 3,500 rpms, on part throttle de-accelleration.
