First impressions of 42 draft designs downpipe
Don't have alot of time with it yet, certainly no spirited driving. Temps are down into the 50s here so hard to say if increase in power is cold air or the pipe but it does feel quite good.
Anyway, first impression is it's quiet! From inside the car with windows down I think it's actually quieter than it was before. I have an APR exhaust and it had some droning during engine braking thru 3k rpm, it's pretty much gone now. The exhaust note is a bit growlier at WOT but that's about it.
Windows down and you can hear much more. Throttle blips for downshifts give you a bit of turbo sound and there's an overall throatier sound to the exhaust. I did a flyby past Danielle and she thought it was quite a bit louder outside, going to have to hear for myself on that one

Overall though I'm pretty impressed. I was a bit worried that it might be too loud inside the car with the APR exhaust since I do alot of longer roadtrips but it's very civilized. Two thumbs up so far. Gotta wait and see if there is really additional power there, already lost my first drag race with it installed to a certain blue car, and also waiting to see if I get any CELs.
