I got a TB quote of $1,030 from a local shop. Haven't scheduled it yet though.

I picked up the TB parts from dieselgeek for $260.00...I'm paying about $450.00 in labor....I'm taking a risk by supplying my own parts..as you know mechanics don't like to warranty parts they don't sell..but I saving a little on the parts....
60k may be a little early for TB, I am more concerned about the WP and also, the thermostat is acting up...might as well do it all....my mechanic says he has seen couple of TB go before 75k but most, according to him, blow at 95k miles...PREVENTIVE LOOMS LARGE HERE, as you know.
