Getting Toyo RA1s to last 4 years!
<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/50555/toyo_tire_warm.jpg"></center><p>this is 20mins into the tires first track session. after my first track day in the TT and on RA1s in March of '03 to my last one a couple weeks ago, these tires have been champs!!! i did constant mid day rotations and even had them unmounted and turned around on the rim. running them in reverse direction was recommended by Toyo which also helped even things out some more. i even put almost 1000 more miles commuting back and forth recently until a weird item cut a 1" gash in the middle of a rear. the tires have had amazing grip, amazing last, and amazing characteristics. hopefully the new R888s going on will be as good!

not the fastest tire, but most certainly the best long term :)

Funny you mention that...
i just did a hike up at 7000ft last sat. and Angeles Crest is taken 35 miles to the start. a VERY incredible 35 miles. anyway, it's so funny with these guys dropped down on the knee and looking back on the next straight to find me still there. it's good fun, but alittle spooky even when i give them 20 car lengths to avoid running one over if something happen.
