Could have been seriously injured or worse at the hands of another Audi today...

Just after that, suddenly, a back newer A4 was in my lane, having darted diagonally without warning into the lane, blocking it completely. He didn't enter the lane and keep moving, but instead, entered it and stopped.
There was no way on earth that I could have hit the brakes and not slammed into the Audi at anything less than 50-55 mph.
So I gunned it, threw the TT sideways onto the shoulder, and ESP and I corrected the abrupt swerve so that I was able to straighten things out and take the exit without incident.
Honestly, I'd guess that 95 out of 100 drivers would have slammed into the side of the A4. Again, I was going 65 and he was stationary, so there's no question in my mind that it would have been a serious injury impact.
Fortunately, the TT handles well and has ESP, plus I've done autocross, autocross school, Audi driving school, and police driving school and pursuit training. So I think all of those factored into a much better afternoon than things might have otherwise been had I been a grandmom in a Buick, for example.
Very scary, but at least things turned out fine.
THANK YOU A-P Racing and Carbotech!!!
Nice driving Brad!
