Well, no A3 for me after all. Dealer offered the biggest lowball offer I've heard so I walked.
SOOOO the parts that were going to fall off my car are staying on it and that also means a full battery of fluid changes (coolant, haldex, brake/clutch, trans) and an about to be overdue Timing Belt job to be done shortly. A future trip south to "Mecca" to put that UUC/Koni suspension in as well.... maybe add that neuspeed sway bar too as she seems to be sticking around. It's one thing to trade in a convertible in the winter but spring/summer?! The A3 is great and I LOVE that DSG and Open Sky but for now I'm laying off the trade idea and maybe will await the 2.0T with Quattro slated for '09 or thereafter....

it was snowing today on my way down and I was still ready to do the trade.... oh well
maybe a spring private sale or just garage queen duty finally down the road with the 2.0 on the side.
