Default new stuff there from what i can tell>>>

i do not think anyone on this board is running them....

That said, i would want to know if this includes coilpacks.....Not sure I would want to put more stress on an item that can be prone to failure in these modded cars.....

I like the idea tho.....

Default Sounds like they have stellar advertising...

I fail to see the difference between a "powerful" spark and one that isn't.

A spark is only going to be as powerful as what the spark plug provides and as long as there is reliable juice going down the line, putting in an overpriced "booster" isn't going to make a bit of difference.

Might as well take your money and throw it right into a fire. It would probably be more useful that way.

That the Nology kit might act as individual capacitors?

I know in the car stereo world a capacitor can make the difference between dimming headlights &amp; interior lights and normal lighting. I guess if we have "high performance" ingition system we can't slack on our combustions spark?

Default That's a possibility.

I would be concerned about how they might screw with timing, that's a lot of extra wire &amp; an extra device that the ECU doesn't know about. Probably wouldn't be an issue @ idle, but @ 6000 rpm (when they probably wouldn't have time to recharge anyway) it could be an issue. :^)

Default I doubt it this is an capactor based system, probablt a pre amplifier for ...

the coil packs , you preamp the signal a bit and get a lot more from the power stage , it might kill the coils prematurely since the not projected for that , I had some Ignition Solution coilpacks in my Passat 1.8t , they were awesome , never had a misfire problem or bad coilpack in 3 years .

Default would be nice if it didn't plug between existing harness & coil pack

Looks like it adds a lot of wire and would push connections to area that is high-heat and is known for cracking the stock wires.

So they might sell more of them if it fully replaced the existing harness and uses high grade wire/insulation.
