235/45-17s on six spoke stock wheels?
Hello everyone. I have search the topic, but got no clear answer.
Unfortunately, my winter vehicle is dying, and I need to make the TT driveable if necessary. I have summer Kuhmos on the 225HP polished five spokes in 225/45-17.
I came across someone selling 235/45-17s snow tires used, and I want to use these on my original 180HP six spoke wheels. Is this doable? I don't care about the speedo being off, as long as I don't screw up the Haldex or rub the fenders or not fit over the brakes. I have a short commute ( 5 min, no freeway ) but need to be able to drive a distance on the freeway if necessary.

I disagree, 225 is stock width so 10mm will not be a huge impact on fit or speedo
In fact, the tire will only be a total of about 4mm taller which should have no noticeable affect on speedo at all.
