mobil1/OEM >>>
i'm going to be doing my first oil change on my 2000 180 TTQ this weekend. It has 105k miles.
I think for the most part, the previous owner used Castrol Syntec 5w40.
I'm going to be using Mobil1 5w40 with OEM filter. Nexttime I'm going to try the K&N filter with either Mobil1 again, or Valvoline Synthetic 5w30.

Has anyone been able to find out if Synpower is group III or IV?? >
Also, FWIW I picked up a Purolator filter from Advance this last Sunday, looks exactly like OEM but not $14 like the dealerships wanted to charge me.
