You Don't Have to Pay the Rebate Back

Unlike other advance tax credits, you won't have to pay back the rebate you receive when it comes time to file your 2008 taxes. If it turns out that you were eligible for a higher rebate amount when you calculate your taxes, the extra amount will be refunded to you when you file next year. It's a lie...

where do you think the money the government spends comes from in the first place? One of two places - 1) what we pay in taxes, 2) by printing more (which we pay for in lost monetary value, aka inflation).

inflate or not... all i know is i'm gettin 600 buks and i dont have to claim it to my next year tax.

if you feel strongly against it, you can send me your 600 buks

From what I understand...

You will still have to pay taxes on the bonus you recieve on next years taxes.

I will still accept it though =)
