180HP-Q Pre cat O2 Sensor - HOW??>>>

Hi all - wanted to replace my pre cat 02 sensor, and from what I read, the 180 should be simple...How???

I got under there, I just barely got a wrench on the thing, and maybe had a 1/4" to swing the wrench...

What is everyone else removing to make this such a simple job?? I can't even fit a hammer to smack the thing, let alone safely apply heat to it...

Any pics would be appreciated!

get a 7/8" crows foot, the kind u can put on teh end of a ratchet

sometimes i have to use mine on hard to get at 02's

I used a O2 socket connected to a 2.5ft extension so that I could unscrew from the top.

Have a friend snake the extension and the socket down from the top of the engine bay, while you guide the socket onto the top of O2 sensor from underneath the car.
