Anyone have any thoughts on why my ECU can't be read?

Background, car was out in very cold weather for about three weeks and battery went down. I think the battery was actually bad before but ignored the warning signs, the cold killed it off. Replaced battery.

Just went in to get the emissions test and they couldn't read anything. Attached my vag-com to the same result.

Any ideas?

Oh yes, the car seems to be running fine.

Check the OBD fuse Dick...>

I forget which one it is, but if blown will render the OBD port useless...

On that VTDA, let me get a precise measurement on the MAF housing when I get the car back from the tuner next week to make certain and then I'll place an order with you. I miss the throttle response and the WOOSH!

Ittaliano put his on with the standard 3" inlet, Wolkswagen says the 3.2 adapter is perfect....I never really determined if the 3 and the 3+ uses a different part so confirmation will be good..
