My TT gave me a valentines present and it wasnt that great.....CEL
So I got a Check Engine Light on Monday and took it to autozone to check the code.
The code was: P0171 Fuel mix lean (bank 1)
I had recently put some crappy fuel from Costco in and I did it while they were refilling the tanks (I know stupid mistake but I HAD to get gas and its real cheap there) so I figured something was clogged up. I bought some fuel cleaner and put some 91 octane in her and she ran good Tuesday and Wednesday.
Short story long, I was driving with my chick last night back from dinner on Pacific Coast Highway in Laguna Beach and some D-bag in a beater boxter tried to go with me. I decided to forgo his child like ploy and ignored him. Two miles or so down the road he is still pulling some shenanigans. So I got on it a bit (my lady "loves the sound of the turbo and the way it speeds up") to give my girl some fun. We all know I am not going to let some mid life crisis turd in a boxter try that while my girl is in the car.
Boom, CEL back on again. I have not got a chance to check the code but, is there something that I should be doing to remedy the previous code. Also, is there anything urgent that I need to do so that there is no more harm done to the car.
