Need help from the forum... We need another 4 door, may or may not signal the end of the road
for the TT in the garage, but that's another story.
So I'm looking around and doing a little resarch and say to the wife "How about an A6?", thinking V8, 2005ish with sport package.
She says to let her think about it. Comes back in email "How about a Porsche Cayenne S?"
So, any thoughts? I thought the Porsche is based on the Toureg, but Consumer Reports rates the P car much higher than the VW.
I still like the A6, but my vote is a weak 49%.

Lots of problems in the first few years....crazy stuff too...almost all electrical....
It would need to be a post 2004 IMO....

I recently picked up an S6 and love it...
although it's my daily and not hers... When we look at a new one for her, she really likes the Q7, but there are some great deals on 05ish Cayenne's out there, and it's a dem fine machine.

With an 06 you may get the balance of the porsche factory warranty.....Strong suggestion would be to go for an extended warranty.......just a thought....

Sorry to say, may never own another Audi, just picked up a 2008 Subaru outback LL Bean Edition.....
For the wife...Love it. It's the poor man's nice car. Just never had a lick of problems with my 2000 Outback.

Though having 2 Hondas in the family may cause you both to snore more....:-)
Susan had this Little old lady hang-up driving the element (LOL...All you could see was her head, and she's not short!). She feels and acts sportier in the Mini, which may have some remote and semi related benefits for me in the long run....:-)
(The moral to that story is do what makes her happy....)
