Throttle body code

I just got chipped and the vag threw a throttle body fault. They said it was sticking and they said they tapped it but was still sticking. What causes this and what can I do to fix it other than getting a new throttle body?
....BTW I love the chip! That should've been my first mod, before the exhaust, intake, brakes, audio system, and suspension!

Clean it....>

Take it off an use some Throttle body cleaner or Brake clean...There is a residule build-up that can cause the butterfly to stick..<ul><li><a href="http://public.fotki.com/RoberTT/maintenance/throttle_body_cleaning/">RoberTT's pictures and write-up here..</a></li></ul>

Will the battery disconnect work to get the car to adjust the Throttle Body instead of the VAG?

I have encountered a stumling or searching idle in the past. I have used the battery disconnect and then let the car go through it's TB allignment on it's own. Just wondering if the VAG is required or if this should work?
