How can I disable my alarm?
What could be causing this? I've never had this happen before. Is there a way I can disable the alarm without disconnecting the battery? I need to fix this soon as my neighbors are going to kill me! Thanks in advance.
if this doesn't work, you could have a door open switch going bad.
good luck!
Locking the doors isn't really a feasible solution as I can't really leave my TT unlocked when it's parked on the street overnight.
I'd like to be able to disable the alarm entirely.
By the way, there must be a fuse for the alarm system. I haven't checked but it seems as the best solution for the near term.

and this is what Uwe at RossTech sent me back:
these are all "advisory" codes which just tell you why the alarm went off at some point. These stay forever unless you clear them. It's rare to see a car that doesn't have a few "Alarm" codes.
Now the 01616 code, that points at an actual fault, but it's "intermittent" meaning the fault condition didn't exist at the time you scanned the car.
I'd clear clear all of them and not worry in the least unless you've got some actual problem symptoms (such as repeated false alarms) or unless the 01616 keeps coming back.

And this was the VAG COM solution
Try this:
[Select]
[45 - Int. Monitor]
[Adaptation - 10]
Enter channel 01
Enter a value between 50-100 (it should be 100 by default) for the sensitivity of the ultra-sound sensors
[Save]
Problem solved
