Default Anyone know any good shop w/reasonably price around Fort Lee or Tri-State area?

Hi guys, I've been lurking around here for the last 3yrs but never posted anything. I just recently got my 42 down pipe and blue flame, and have been looking for a good shop around where I am (Fort Lee, NJ) or the Tri State area to have them installed. Tyrol Sport has quoted me $580 for 6hrs just for just the down pipe including lowering the sub frame. $180 for the cat back for I think 2hrs of labor. Are these price sound reasonable? If any of you know of any good shop but may be cheaper please let me know. Thanks.

The following quote from the enclosed article states that it should take between 3 & 4 hours to do the job. It took STaSIS 3 hours to install the very same 42DD 3" DP as you've got.

"The TT was dropped of and its return eagerly awaited. Chatting with Evan from 42 Draft, he said to expect an estimated time for install at about 3 to 4 hours. On pick-up of the car, STaSIS indicated that it took about three hours to install, and while it was a bit involved, they had no trouble getting the downpipe in and adjusted correctly."

Six hours in way out of line IMHO.

Default i highly recommend tyrolsport.

mike and the gang are really good guys. they took extra time for doing my suspension, and stuck to their original quote....and they did a great job.

i'd rather pay a little bit extra and get great service than save some loot and get crap service.

tell em syed told you.

I wish you had more choices but they will do a very good job. Peace of mind is worth a lot!
