Back from the Audi dealer visit yesterday...
Aside from regular maintenance, I crunched a wheel into a pothole the other day that rocked my car so much at 15mph that I made sure to go into the garage early the next morning in case I had to put a spare on. Of course, it's bent.
On top of that, the check engine light that has been pretty random turns out to be from the cat. Next time it pops up, I'll try and find someone to VAG it for me, but the service summary says "cat converter below threshold". The writer wasn't trying to get an extra buck out of me -- he knows I won't buy a new cat. Is there any dying sensor that's been known to cause this one? Like I said, I'll have more information next time it appears I hope.
