Default Car in the shop today for the 42DD Downpipe fitting........

Waiting anxiously for a phone call that all's well and to come and get it (it should happen this afternoon).
Eliminating the 2.5" reduction and going directly from 3" (DP) to 2.75" (BlueFlame).
Having the hi-flow cat put in until I get Wayne's O2 sensor angle block before I try the test pipe.
I'll keep y'all posted.

Default FWIW I needed an adapter with the high-flow cat

Seems alot of people do. Wayne was backlogged so I ended up with the spark plug spacer trick. A few dollars in parts at autozone and some time with a drill and dremel and it's worked for several thousand miles now. I never bothered with the angle adapter.

Default IIRC.... you may want to re-check the nuts/bolts after you have a few miles on it. John and Russ can

answer to that. Believe they're using "updated" hardware now, but good to be sure.

Default I debated which way to go but in the end......

I chose the more expensive but cleaner solution. I didn't want my O2 sensor sticking out that far underneath my car. It looked like it was an accident waiting to happen. Wayne's 90 deg elbow tucks that sucker close to the pipe. I like Wayne's solution better.
To each his own. The double antifoulers run about $10 and Wayne's machined part is $36. If cost is your most important factor, then go with the anti-foulers. For me it was not and so I went with Wayne's approach.

Default Thanks for the heads -up. I talked to Evan about that and......

he said that they now use self-locking nuts that should completely eliminate that problem. As extra protection, I told the guy at the shop to put some high-temp RTV on each one to make sure they do not back off.
