Replacement of coolant hoses...When is it time ?

At what point should all of the coolant hoses be replaced. Age? mileage? Is there any certain problem hoses on the 225 motor?

163,730 on mine... no problems

seems crazy to push it this far, really...

I honestly can't recall anyone having to replace the coolant hoses....>

all the others are a different story!

I've seen em blow at high milage

Keep a car 2-3 years? I wouldn't bother

But for "long haul" guys (100-150k and still DRIVING the car), preventive hose replacement IS worthwhile (to stay out of the flatbed club!)
