If I've got much of the front suspension apart, including sway bar links, is a beefier FSB worth it?

Have the 19mm rear. I know the front bar's a pain to work with, but labor wise, if I'm replacing the front links, would that be a good time to get a bigger front bar?

I'm not as big of a fan as most here of "dialing out" all the understeer. While not complaining about the handling with just the 19mm rear, I do a fair amount of driving on twisty, icy mountain roads. So some good stiff handling and less chance of oversteer might be good for me, no?

Just thinking it might be a better balance for me, as I've had the rear get a little happy on crowned icy two lanes, despite great snow tires and a load in the back.

Opinions?

Thanks,

Rich

Default Not really... If you're doing a downpipe or replacing the steering rack maybe

From what I understand you need to drop the front subframe to get the front bar in.

Default decided this probably wouldn't be a good stock jack / garage project for me!

Hope your ears are still ok after the show last night....Ministry still kicks ***, even with Uncle Al "Alien" in his 50's........

Cheers,

Rich

Default what? ;)

yes, definitely not a good factory jack project (there are none! The endlinks are really easy to do but use the crapsman jack for that one.

Had a good time last night, would have liked to hear more old stuff. Hopefully pigface will be back on tour again soon
