Default Well, I did it..I just made the TT lighter

removed back seat, rear shelf, first aid kit, engine covers, rear speakers, rear sway bar, spare tire, jack, wheel stem caps, knee braces, cupholder, rear carpets, that long metal bar under the car that blocks the oil filter, that metal bar that bolts across the strut towers, and CD Changer. I need weigh how much all these stuff I have taken off. There is also a garbage dump station nearby and they weigh your car on entrance. I will get the car's weight tomorrow. I am guess a good 200 lbs was saved doing this.

Default I'm thinkin I'd put the cross brace (structural) and rear sway bar back in>>

before any serious driving.

Can you say big understeer with an unstable front end?

Unless you're driving everywhere in a straight line, put the swaybar back in.

Default OR... and I'm just throwing this out there as a complete hypothetical

he could continue down this path of weight reduction and remove all of the rear brake components too. Take off the ebrake cable and handle, rear brake rotors and calipers, wheel speed sensors, etc. I mean, most of the braking is handled up front anyway so why would you need all that stuff out back.

Default On second thought, those intercoolers are heavy too

and way out in front of the front axle, those should go too.
